{Calling Noah} {private}

Vira sighed. It had been a few hours... but the blonde couldn't wait. She sat at a bench in the mall of Jefferson City, outside a Gap, and pulled out her cell and the crumpled paper with Noah's graceful script on it. Vira dialed the numbers, hit the dial button, and held the phone to her ear- and her breath.

Ring, ring...

[Annah]

Noah had spent most of the day after seeing Vira cleaning up his dorm room. He had some laundry that needed to be done and just a few other household chores. It surprised him when he heard the buzzing sound of his ceel phone vibrating on the desk. Dropping the stack of CD's Noah had been trying to organized he picked up the phone and flipped it open?

"Hello? This is Noah." He said into the phone. His voice was soft but still strong, kinda like him. Strong, but soft. Sometimes a pushover.

"Hey, Noah." Vira loved his voice. It sounded strong, like he had felt on the ride to the barn. "It's me. Vira."

[Annah]

"Oh well hello there Miss Vira. I was just thinking about you. How are you?" He asked. It was true he had been thinking about her. The way she knew so much about horses, her water ability, where she came from, the way her blonde hair sparkled in the sunlight and her... Noah had to focus again. Horses, water, and origin. No beautiful blonde hair..

Noah sighed. He knew it was no good to fight it and he would much rather give into his weakness.

"Really now?" The thought thrilled Vira- Noah himself dazzled her. "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out? I know it's knida... the same day... but my cousin is still holed up with her guy. I'm out of anything to do- you've been here a bit longer than me... Do you know anywhere?" Vira desperately wanted him to know somewhere, anywhere, they could go.

There was no use pretending.

[Annah]

"Well I was actually getting ready to go have some supper. There is a wonderful little dinner down the street from the school. Id like it very much if you would accompany me." He said to Vira. He was unconsiously sorting through his CD collection. He hoped very much that she would agree to join him.

Vira smiled, then remembered noah couldn't see her face. He seemed so close.. the Bre'a girl did not often use cell phones. "I would be glad to accompany you," she said. "Meet me there?"

[Annah]

"Thank you." noah gave her the address and some easy directions before hanging up the phone and making his way to the bathroom mirror. He ran his hands through his hair, feeling nervous for some reason. He splashed a little cologne on, making sure to not over do it so it was just subtle enough. Before leaving he filled Kayla's bowl with dinner and told her to behave. Then he was out the door and heading to the dinner.

Vira raced through the mall, back to the exit she had used- it also happened to be closest to the school and diner. She stopped by Anaesty's favorite store, a little secondhand shop, and picked up a fabulous red, long dress which she changed into in the back changing rooms. Vira then took a cab to the diner- and saw Noah there. She waved, a big smile on her face.

Noah had been standing outside the dinner waiting for Vira when he saw her cab pulled up. Vira stepped out and Noah had to fight very hard to not let his jaw drop. She looked gorgeous. Composing himself he stepped forward to greet her. "Oh. Well hello there Vira. Might I say you look absolutely Ravishing. Would you like to go in now?" Noah offered her his hand and waited to see if she would accept it.

Vira took his proffered hand with a smile, saying, "Why thank you, Noah," as she examined his apparel. "You look nice as well." Vira then turned her attention to the diner. It was small, but the cozy diner was warm-looking and had lots of character, even from the outside.

[Annah]

"I do believe I have a reservation." He said as he walked with Vira into the dinner. A middle aged woman who wore a black apron approached them. "Reservation for two. It should be under the name Rimmer." Noah winked at the woman and she led him to a table in the corner.

"Your usualy Mr. Rimmer." She said, there was something joking about her voice. Noah smiled and then turned towards Vira. Pulling out the chair he let her sit before sitting across from her.

"Thats Peggie. She is a dear friend of mine. And there is always a reservation for their most loyal customer. I tend to eat her much more than I should. I think the last time I had a home cooked meal was Thanksgiving." He laughed softly at himself. "I do hope you enjoy yourself tonight."

"I'm sure I will." Vira smiled nervously, and thanked Peggie. "So how much do you eat here, beside breakfast lunch and dinner?" Vira tucked her blonde hair behind her ear, then it promptly fell before her face again. She made a face and tucked it up again, but it fell down again.

[Annah]

"Well I would have to say you have it correct. I eat here for almost every meal I have. They have started feeling so sorry that I now get breakfast free and lunch on discount." Noah had reached across softly and pushed Vira's blonde hair behind her ear fastening it in a fashion where it stayed. He smiled at her and then went back to browsing the menu he had so easily memorized.

Vira smiled shyly at him from the curtain the other side of her hair provided, admiring Noah's easy grace and lean figure as he examined the menu. "I would think you had it memorized," she said, pointing to the menu. "Since you eat here so much..."
