"Oh I do. But I like to seem like a normal person." He said softly. There was a hint of joking in his voice, but there was a honesty as well. "So what would the lady like?" he asked softly.

"Well I think I will have the sauteed scallops with a spicy piquillo pepper puree." Peggie seemed to have appeared out of nowhere and written down the order and was off with both the menu's leaving Noah and Vira alone. Noah smiled at her, boy she was beautiful and smart. Noah started to feel a little nervous.

Vira took a deep breath, trying to think of something to say that wouldn't make her look stupid. This was her first date-- she would have to tell Anaesty everything when she got back to the dorm. "So... umm... how did you come by Kayla?" Vira asked lamely, aware of the dumb question. The honey blonde hadn't been able to think of anything else.

Noah smiled at her. She was so sweet and innocent. A quality most females lacked now. "Well before I cam to Jefferson I was working as a farm hand out in Oklahoma. Though on the outside I may look like a gentlemen, but on the inside there is a hard working young lad. Im actually much stronger than I look as well. But the family I was working for had a collie named Maggie and she had delivered puppies a few weeks before I left. They gave me Kayla as a goodbye gift." Noah finished his story and waited for Vira to reply. He loved listening to her voice. It was soft and curious yet strong and independent.

Vira smiled, her lips parted in a grin. "That's so sweet," she replied. "Does Kayla remember much of the farm, or had you left before she could really spend much time there?" Vira knew it was slim, but if Noah at least remembered how long the collie had been at the farm, Anaesty would probably be willing to ask Kayla.

"She was a couple months old when we left. Weve actually only been away for the past two months. Im sure she remembers it well. she followed me everywhere, it was a great place." He said softly. he couldnt help but stare at Vira and he knew that was rude. But she was just so very charming and kind. And oh so beautiful.

"Ive wondered what she would really say to me. But I believe we have a strong connection and we know each other well enough that we know things even without saying them." He said softly. He hoped Vira was having a good time.

Vira smiled. "That's always a good thing. I have that connection with many horses. I was just curious; my cousin Anaesty can communicate with animals." She shifted in her seat, leaning closer to the table and Noah.

"Well I look forward to meeting Anaesty sometime soon. Well.." Noah paused. He was unsure if he should be so forward with Vira. "That is if you wouldnt mind me seeing you in the future. I would like that." Noah's cheeks suddenly turned red and he knew he was blushing.

Noah smiled. "Well. I hope I dontscrew up to bad. So Vira. Tell me more about you. Where you come from, you only explained a little. Whats your family like?" Noah had a million questions. But wasnt sure if he should say them all at the same time so he only asked a few.

"Well, I never met my dad. He was Quile'e, so he lived a long ways away. Mom met him on vacation..." Vira wasn't entirely sure why she was telling Noah all of this. "We live in Bar Harbor, in Maine. The Bre'a are nature people, so we like it in the town because all the elements meet there. We are sort of clannish.... We have a chieftain, Seth Hawthorne. He's Anaesty's father, which is why she gets to come to an out of town school. Usually we're homeschooled. But Seth thought that we needed an update, and felt Anaetsy could bring it when it's her turn to lead. I was sent to be her companion, a bit of home."

"Your cousin sounds like a very intresting young woman. But Im sure she has nothing on you." At that moment a waiter came and dropped off their food. He left silently which was almost creepy. Noah smiled shyly unsure what to say. Though he knew what he really wanted to.
