"What did you give up?" She asked softly. She pulled herself closer to him. "How many girls have you dated or been with?" She suddenly asked. She felt self concious. Had he been with a beautiful vampire? She stood no chance. She was awful in comparison.

Though she died, the short time we were togeather it was wonderful, she was beautiful yes, but you have some of her qualitites. Though I like that I like you for who you are."

Annah knew her first guess was right. She would never be able to compete. She didnt want him to ask her about her dating past. It wasnt good. She had bad luck with boys. "So.. umm.. what do you want to talk about?" She asked curiously trying to change the subject. Her self esteme was wounded enough for one day.

" Look, If I had a choice between you and here......... I'd pick you." He smiled, and kissed her on the lips and didn't let go. He smiled and looked into her eyes, " I want to talk about us, and if you want to become a vampire?" He a tear ran down his cheek from one of his memories being left alone and abandoned by his parents. He laid his head down on her chest and smiled. He had found the one, this was the one.

He kissed her, and looked into her eyes, " I can help y ou with you dad. By the way shouldn't you introduce me to him. Don't worry about the bad luck, I think it's time you get some good luck." He ran his hands down her legs once more and waited for her to get up. He wanted to meet her dad.

Checking her watch she sighed. He was probably wondering what had happened to her. And what would he say about the cast. Oh well she would have to deal with her punishment. "I guess." She said allowing her tone to show how unthrilled she was. "Just dont eat him." She teased throwing an elbow into his side playfully.

He snapped at her and kissed her once before he picked her up and walked out the door. He smiled and looked towards the direction of her house, " You ready?" He started jogging at first and then started going as fast as a 80 mph carl. He stopped infront of her house and set her down on her feet. He whistled and his car pulled up into the drive way by itself. He had a dark red lambo with tinted windows. He looked at her and waited for her to move.

"Great, your fast and have a fancy car." The sarcasm was thick on her tongue as she walked up the path. The house was large and built into a hill. It had old charm and always reminded Annah of a castle. Ivy grew softly up the rock sides and the house was blocked from peoples view by a thick curtain of trees. She opened the door and walked into the large front room. There wasnt a lot of furniture. And it was all very modern. Her father was the modern type. She heard the tv on in his office and new he was probably watching the game. "Dad, Im home. I brought a... friend over." She said. off to the left was a small hall that lead to the kitchen and dinning room. There was also a bathroom that way. To the right was a small den, a hall way that lead to her fathers room, two spare rooms, and another bathroom. In the corner of the front room was a black cast iron spiral staircase that went up and down. A moment passed before Megs father came out of the den. "Dad this is Jason." She said softly.

Jason looked at her and then smiled, this was going to be great. There wasn't any other place he would want to bee. He looked around the house and smiled, this was a great place to live. " Hello, It's nice to meet you finally." HE looked at Annah, he didn't know what her fathers' name was.

Sticking out his hand Annahs father smiled happily. "The names Evan Parker. And it is a pleasure to meet you." He pushed his hand through his hair and gave his daughter one of those looks. It was a look only he could make. It was the potential boyfriend look. He was always trying to get her to be like other kids, to date and be young. But Annah always seemed to mature and tended to spend a lot of time by herself.

Jason smiled, and showed his sharp teeth. " Well, you have a beautiful daughter." He winked at her and looked at Evan, " Do you mind if I take her out to eat tonight?" He looked outside to make sure no one was trying to steal his car. That car was priceless, it could never be replaced. He pondered about where to eat, " You could come to if you wanted to."

"Oh well thats fine with me. Id love to join you but I have some work to do. So I am going to have to decline. See you kids later." With that he disapeared back to his office. Annah just shrugged and started towards the staircase. "Come on. Ill show you my room." She climbed the staircase till she reached a black door. Pushing it upen she entered into the studio like room. It had high celings and was very spacious. In one corner was a black grand piano and piles of written music. Her bed was a large king size, covered in a million pillows. Besides that there wasnt much in there except some flowers and a few nicknacks. There was a door leading to her bathroom, and one to her closet.

He leaped up the staircase and and smiled at her, It was a nice room. It was roomy and had potential to become something really good. He sighed and looked at her, " Well, this is all nice and stuff but there is something bugging me. It's like you holding out something from me. I get this feeling, are you because I need to know." He layed on her bed and blew a kiss towards here.

Annah paused. Her mind was racing with things. Turning very slowly to face him she looked worried. "Did you know I'm not an only child. I use to have a twin brother. He died when we were 7. He had abilitys like me. Well obviously they were different. He could mess with people's visions and make them see things that werent really there. He use to make such beautiful bright scenes for me. And when I dream, i find myself there amongst those picture that Carson gave me. But lately. I see the images even when I am awake." She stopped as she noticed she was now crying.
