Annah sighed as she slowly turned the song into Maybe. "My father and I are very different. He just wants me to be happy. But ive felt so empty and alone since my mother died. She was my best friend. He use to be an artist. And my mother was a musician, she taught me to play. But after she died. All the colors, and the music faded. He took a corporate job and we moved into the city. He spent hours at work, and I was alone. I think hes trying to make up for it by moving us here. But, well. I just dont know anymore." One tear ran down her cheek but there was a loving smile on her face as she thought of the old days.

He wipped the tear off her face with a finger softly and kissed her on the cheek." Well, I'm very sorry to hear about that." He wrapped his arms around her and started to kiss her again. He wondered how he was going to be able to tell her how old he was. It would be kind of scary kissing a 110 year old guy.

"Will I ever get to meet your family? Im sure you could meet my father, you managed to not kill me, so im sure you could do the same to him." she asked. She scooted herself an inch closer to him, unaware of her own movement. "I dont want your family to have to leave because of me."

He looked at her, " I've been here a long time and we know a thing or two when it comes to hiding." He looked around and then sighed, " You can meet my family, but be very careful I don't want anything to happen to you."

She smiled. "When can I meet them?" she was very happy to be meeting them, if they were anything like Jason she was sure to love them. But would they like her? That scared her to think about. Would Jason stop them if they tried to hurt her. Or would he not want to fight with his own family. Complicated.

He smiled and looked at her, " They should becoming very quickly now." He kissed her softly on the lips and then stood up waiting for his parents arival. Hoefully they would accept her and let him be with her, but he never knew what was going to happen with his family.
His father landed down on the ground and started to sniff the air, " Jason I see you have brought us dinner, good we needed an alive one. That old blood was going a little stale for my taste."
Jason looked at his father and then held Annah in his arms, " Father this is my friend Annah, I would like for you to meet her. Please don't kill her, she's my only non human friend and I would love for you to get to know her better." He hissed softly as he heard his sisters on their way here.

Annah wondered if she should say something. Instead she found Jason's hand and wove her fingers in his. She stared up at him for a moment and then back to his father. She tried to give a smile. But was sure she failed. He was older, but there was something that reminded her of Jason. Maybe his yes, or they way he stood. Would he accept her. Her life probably depended on it. "Hello Sir." She finally managed to say.

His father hissed at her and then looked up at his son. " How could you do this to us, now she knows everything. We will have to kill her to keep our secrete." He showed his fangs and got ready to leap at her and kill her.
Jason looked at her and kissed her softly on the cheek, " NO father, she won't tell a soul will you.??" He looked up at him and got ready to defend her there was no way that he was going to let his father kill her, she was the only one that had truly understood him and hadn't called him a freak or told him to get lost.
Ashlynn landed softly on the ground and looked at the girl, she smiled showing her fangs and looked at her brother. " So you got a girlfriend now huh, what does father think of you having a mortal girlfriend?" She looked over at her sister Abby and wondered what she was going to do.
Abby looked up at her brother and then at the girl, she sighed and looked at her father. This couldn't have been happening, what would mother say if she found out. That wouldn't bee good if she found out that there was a human in their house. She knew what she had to do, she would have to kill her.

This was it, surely this ment death. Right here in the arms of a vampire. More than likely it would be painful, very painful. First to come, the bite. Then the tearing. she could here the way it would sound as her body broke and tore. A shiver running up her spine awoke her from this terror of a dream.
The future, the future. She had to know. Was this it, would it all dissapear in a mere moment? Placing her hands in the side of her head she tried to focus on this, pushing all her strength towards this one desire. Slowly it became clearer.
An image appeared slowly. Annah sat on a couch with her knees tucked off to the side, she was alone, or so it seemed. The tv was flashing images of a new movie coming to theatres. Suddenly a girl entered the room, she was beautiful and looked similar to Jason. Was it the one known as Ashlynn? It must be. She stood comfortably behind Annah staring at the tv as well. The image zoomed out and another girl stood motionless across the room. Abby. She was staring out the windows as if pondering a deep question. Jason and his father were making their way back into the living room chatting happily about something Annah couldnt understand. Jason came to the couch and sat down. Then something different happened, a third woman entered the room. She was very beautiful too. But Annah didnt recognize her like the others. She crossed the room to stand next to Jason's father staring blissfully at the children. Everyone was happy. And Annah was alive.
A sudden jerk and Annah was back to herself. She could feel the tension rolling off all the vampires in the room. confidently she took a slow step towards the angered vampire in front of her, she could hear Jason whisper a soft warning to her but she ignored it. "Dont worry. Im not going to die. At least, not today. I saw it. All of you here in your home happy. Your mother too. And me, I was here. With you, Jason. On the couch. I wont tell you secret, and not because I am afraid. I just. Well, Jason is special. He doesnt deserve that. Please Sir." Her voice never wavered, for the first time she felt powerful while in the room full of vampires. She waited for someone to say something. They had all grown so still, unmoving statues while Annah couldnt help but fidget. It was so unfair.

Jason smiled at Annah, and led her upstairs to his room. Once they got into the room he shut the door and looked up at her, " Finally we get some time to ourselves," He winked at her and then began to kiss her on the lips. He didn't know what was coming over him, but he liked it and didn't want it to stop.

Annah felt her lips moving with his. Softly at first and gradually growing more fierce. She was scared she would lose this moment forever. She felt her arms reach up around his neck and pull her closer to his body. She felt like every emotion she had ever felt was crashing into the kiss. But it soon ended. She slipped back down from her tip toes and stared at him. Head rushing and nerves on edge she smiled shyly.
"Is your dad still mad about me?" She asked. "Is your mom going to be mad? And your sisters.." She let her sentence fade and then sighed and stared at him. She stood on her toes again and kissed him softly. Her heart was still racing but she felt good. The best in a long time.

" Don't worry, they will get used to it. Your the first mortal that i've been with." He winked at her and layed her the bed and began to kiss her once more. " Be right back," He whispered and vanished into the air. He had ran down stairs and told his family to stay out of his room or they would never see the end of it. He reappeared infront of her with his shirt off, his skin sparkled in the moon light.

"Been with?" She asked when he had returned from downstaires. she had curled up into a ball on her side. Her arms wrapped around her legs. She smiled at him and felt the blood rush to her cheeks again. How she hated it. She noticed his shirt had seemed to of vanished. Jason was fit though. His muscles looked smooth and flawless. Just looking at him made her feel self consious of her own body. She was so human in comparison. What a stupid thing to think. Of course she was human in comparison.

He quickly layed down at her, and took her hand and ran it over his stomach. He looked her in the eyes and smiled, " Well, your the only mortal girl i've been with at all. I don't know maybe you could call me your boyfriend. I'd like that if you are ok with it." He tickled her softly and stared up at the ceiling.

Annah rolled over onto her stomach and stared at him. Her shirt lifted a few inches in the process to reveal the black ink. It was only partially showing, but she was sure he would notice the tattoo. "I will make you a deal. Today has been overwhelming, fairytale like, in a weird sick way. But lovely. Stick around for a while, prove to me I am not dreaming or crazy. Then I will call you mine." She kissed his lips softly and then stared at his perfect face.
