Archwolf Academy[/size]
Archwolf Academy is a school for budding werewolves. Here they learn their arts, and are released into the world after a typical four-year high school stay. They are born into it, living in a pack- usually disguised as a large family or group of close-knit friends- and know their heritage for years before coming to Archwolf. Here their skills are just accessed and taught.
A werewolf is not born with its abilities- turning to the beast, tuning the average human senses, a taste for meat- but as the young "pup" matures it is closer in its relations with the future beast. An affiliation with the moon is usual as a first sign, but transformations under stress are known to happen.
So, when the child hits fourteen, they are moved to a secret school in the far north, Montana's wilderness. Here, the beautiful but stern headmistress, or Alphess, Anaesty teaches the students a thing or two about being a wolf. The students take an entrance exam, and their house is decided based on personality and signs of the turn that are exhibited already.
