Anaesty was about to return to school from a long vacation home in Bar Harbor, where she and her people resided. The Hawthorne girl attended school in Jefferson City, so far and so different form her home in Maine, as a way to live in secrecy due to her unusual Nature Magic.
Right now, she was a regular girl, shopping her heart out in stores she knew had natural clothing. Just because the lovely teen knew fashions were synthetic nowadays didn't mean she would wear them, despite her apparent trendiness. Many of her clothes came from Aeropostale, with lots of cotton, or the little oddball secondhand shop that composed most of her wardrobe for school. That was where she was currently.
Anaesty saw a shelf of dresses, and was examining them for any good dresses. "Oh," she breathed, unearthing a plain black dress, sleeveless and with a tooled bodice. The material was soft; an all natural silk, Anaesty determined. The dress was perfect; and she purchased it for a mere ten dollars. She could get a totally new wardrobe for the semester here, by spending only a hundred dollars.
She collected also a pair of tall lace up high heels, very sexy, and several worn jeans, old formfitting tees, some pajamas- both nightgowns and sweats, oversized baggy pullovers, sandals, sneakers, loafers, and one leather jacket she determined to be of very fine natural quality. All of the clothes were made of plants or animals; she also could tell if the animal had died of natural causes before becoming leather. The tooled, exquisite jacket was of that sort, marking it for her approval.
Anaesty stepped out of the store with several bags, true to her expectations by having only spent eighty dollars. Twenty dollars rested in her pocket and would go to use as a purchaser for lunch at her favorite green cafe. Maybe she would spend a little extra at the secondhand book store...

Jake stood outside watching her and shook his head in disapproval, he was one of those rich type guys that you wouldn't dare see at a place that sold clothes for less then 100 dollars. She was very sexy, but what was she doing at a place like this could it be that she was poor? He dicided to get to know her better. " Hello, who are you?"

"My name is Anaesty Hawthorne." Anaesty looked Jake over. Synthetics... The guy was a walking death trap for nature! Anaesty couldn't see how anyone could lower themselves so. It was disgraceful! Didn't he know what he was doing to the planet?
She sighed, and added to her introduction. "I'm transferring to Jefferson High," Anaesty said warily. "Do you attend there?" He had the sort of look one would have if they attended a school such as Jefferson's... he was kind of cute, too, but Anaesty would definitely have to do something about his manner towards the planet.

"Yes I do infact i'm on the football team, I'm the quarterback." He laughed softly and wondered why she was staring at him like that. He didn't like it, but he could put up with it because she was so cute.

"Football." Anaesty said flatly. At least it was an outdoor sport, not something unnatural like swimming. Chlorine tainting overly heated water, synthetic swimming suits...
Finally Anaesty couldn't take it; she had seen a look of disapproval in his eyes a moment ago. "Do you believe that clothing should be expensive, synthetic, and wasteful? You seemed in disapproval of my wardrobe." She gazed squarely at the boy, her mind wandering to a spell she had been working on earlier.

Ul walked by his hands jamped in his pockets. He wore an odd outfit, other wordly even. His green eyes looked over to the two interacting. He stopped for a moment listening. "Ah," he said aloud to get their attention. "The rescourses that where placed here where meant to be used. However using them in excess to produce rather wasteful outfits is dumb I have to agree. Do people not realize that nature will one day get tired of our ways and destroy us in the end?" His voice was lacking any emotion he'd used 'us' because he really didn't want people knowing he wasn't human. Though his pale skin and odd eyes would give it away. No, he wasn't a vampire he was in sunlight wasn't he? He wasn't something that this world had yet to lay eyes upon. Then he rested his eyes upon Jason, a smirk playing across his black lips. He was the one that had dishonored his sword which began to shake at the sight of Jason. "Ah, the one that called my sword plastic."

Anaesty sensed a past between these two, and something else about the one before her. he was not human. Neither was Anaesty, technically; she was closer to Nature and the animal kingdom than man. But there was something more sinister about this one...
"Name, and any other... pertinent... information about yourself. Please." anaesty gazed at him, brown eyes clear and powerful.

"Um, who is this jason fellow? I'm Jake, it's nice to meet you." He looked at the girl and wondered what she was thinking of this fellow. He wasn't a good person he could tell right off because he was to light to be a vampire. He had to be a new race of something, but what was it?

Ul placed his hand over his eye ripping it out of it's socket. "Hm, my eye sight has been failing me, then I must correc the previous miscalculation." he said aloud. He crushed the eye though blood didn't come out of it but petals, now with one eye he looked over at the two. "I'm Ul." Blood didn't pour from under the closed lid nothing at all happened. His hand went back into his pocket and he pulled out a jar inside was an eye. It looked over at the two then looked up at Ul. The boy took out the eye and placed it where the previous eye had been. "There." He moved them around slightly to make sure everything was alright. "Oh yes that wasn't human was it? Damn." He put his hand back in his pocket.

Anaesty stared, revolted, at the beast. For he was no man, she could tell. However she wasn't sure as to his exact genus and species... "Okay, I want answers. What are yoiu and why are you ruining my shopping trip?"
Normally the girl would not worry about something like that, but she had been looking forward to a carefree weekend before she delved into the world of Jefferson High. Now it was totally ruined by a demon-thing with removable eyeballs.

He looked at her for a moment. "Hm? Shopping Trip?" he said in a monatone voice. "Oh then I apologize if I've ruined anything of yours. My species? Seeing as I am not human should be enough for you." He looked at her for a moment again. "I'm not a demon if I had to think on it I'd say I was something worse. Oh and the whole eye removal thing...it's not a real eye if you think about it. After all no blood came out when I crushed it."

Anaesty sighed. "First off, telling what someone is thinking isn't a common human characteristic, if you care to try and blend in. Second off, your answer wasn't quite what I meant. I'm a Nature-Bre'a, so it's my anture to inquire about these things."
She doubted if the name of her people would mean anything to Ul.

"First I already know your species," he said, his eyes not moving again. "This eye sees everything when it is working correctly that is. "Second if anyone has a problem with me I'll simply erase their memory it isn't that difficult you notice all the people around us are paying no heed to me, that is because to them I look human." He was already getting bored, mortals where so weird. "Third I don't care if you didn't want that magic lesson. I could careless about anything in this world. I'm just here to make sure the princess is alright."
Occ~When he says mortals because he comes from a completly different realm he classifies everyone as mortals.
