To the surprise of Citrus Ul hugged him. "Just be careful, I can't take much more of this family loss crap either..." He murmured. Then he suddenly disappeared. The usual Ul you look away for a second and he's gone. Suddenly Nakura appeared, so that's why he left so quickly...
"Citrus sweetie!" She said smiling warmly. Wrapping her arms around him she gave him a crushing hug. "Hows my fav orange head?"
"Be better if you weren't crushing my wind pipe..." he wheezed. She released him and smiled wide.
"Have you seen Ul-kun?" She smiled wider and looked at him intently.
"Just left..." he wheezed still trying to breathe.
"Dang it he did it again, and when we're suppose to hold of you know who. Well good to see you again bye!" With that the girl took off towards the city, calling after Ul. Citrus sighed yet agian.
"Now all I need is a visit from Dear Cousin..." he muttered walking back over to Meg. "Sorry about that...a little family reunion and meeting an old friend."

Meg smiled. "Oh no. Dont worry, Its okay. Im plenty capable of entertaining myself." she smiled softly again and tried to think of something to say but she just found herself staring at the tall red head boy. meg blushed and looked at the hole she had dug in the ground.

"So..." he looked down at his shoes a habit of his. "Now...what?" He blushed again, another more recent habit...He looked left and right a little wary, just because he thought he saw Max...He gulped a little, why here? How in all the realms did Max hit the nail on finding the escapies...? The ones that he most wanted to kill... They needed to switch locations, and he also needed to make sure Meg would be safe, even at her own home. "You want to go somehwere else just like a change of scenery?" Sure he like the feel of the grass and the light breeze that came from the trees but...that uneasy feeling still was there. No doubt was Max lingering near by.

Meg nodded and made her way towards the car. Her stomach made an uneasy gurgling noise that seemed to echo in the silent park. Trying as hard as possible to not giggle Meg bit her lip, but was enable to keep it in for more than a second. Her laughter erupted and she grabbed at her stomach. "Im sorry. I guess I havent eaten since this morning. How about we hit up Mad Jacks and grab us some ice cream?" She was now slipping into the drivers side of the car which had roared to a start when they were a few yards away.

Citrus smiled and nodded walking over to the car and climbing into the passengers seat. He was rather hungry himself…though his nausea wasn’t fading, as he looked out the window he swore he got a glimpse of Max again. Shuddering he looked back over to Meg, his usual grin spreading across his face. He just needed to stop worrying and start enjoying the time he had left… Wow...one day and all this had happened...the words Ul had said echoed through his head. In love with a mortal girl hm? Was he in love? Well it was just one day...could just one day hold all of those feelings in it?

meg noticed Citrus looking at her and she turned to match his gaze. "What?" She asked in a soft laugh. "Is something wrong with my face?" She started wiping at her face thinking maybe she had dirt or something stuck to it.

Her voice snapped him out of his head. "Oh nothing," he quickly looked down at his hands his face turning tomato red. "And there's nothing wrong wtih you're face, you're just very pretty that's all." His blush got even redder, and he couldn't meet her gaze.

Meg smiled. "Awe, your sweet. Im really surprised you dont have a girl. I mean who wouldnt snatch you up if they had the chance?" They were just pulling up to the ice cream parlor and meg slowly slid out the door and skipped to the sidewalk. She waited for Citrus to make his way out of the truck.

"I'm surprised you don't have a boyfriend.." Sliding out of the truck he walked after her.
"Hm~" A man on a building said looking down at Citrus and Meg. "He acts just like a little lost puppy...how funny~"

Meg had heard the man and she turned to make a face at him. "Come on Citrus." She said pulling him into the parlor. "Why are you surprised? boys find me to weird." She said as she absently gazed at the menu.

His hair rose up and he glanced back, he gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes to the man in a warning. He knew who he was...and it was a bad thing. He'd ignore him for now but soon he was sure that'd be impossible. They where enemies after all...He was brought back to his senses and looked at Meg.
"I don't find you weird." he said. "Though if I did I'd have no room to talk, I'm freaky plant boy."
The man looked slightly shocked, she'd heard him from all the way up on this building? Ah I see...she has powers. He stood up a smirk playing across his face. "I wonder what she can do..."

Meg laughed softly. "And im the freaky girl who can control electricity. When I was in second grade the boys told everyone to stay away from me because I would zap them. Ridicuous isnt it?" Meg was leaning towards him and hadnt noticed that her shoulder was touching his. But when she finally did her heart started to beat faster. Why would she react like that? She wasnt sure.

"Ah you wouldn't zap anyone I'm sure you are a very kind person. Well I can sort of relate in my old school there was tones more plants," he said with a large grin spreading across his face. "I was told not to be picked on or I might sick giant venus fly traps on people who picked on me. Silly kids Venus fly Traps hate the taste of humans..." He laughed a little at this, did people not know about their plants? He felt her slightly lean against him, their shoulders were pressing together gently. She was...warm...he felt like hugging her she seemed so warm...so soft. Embarrassment had his face turning tomato red.

Meg noticed the red of his cheeks and it concerned her. "You alright?" She asked softly. She had unknowingly moved closer again to turn to him as to get a better look at the boy.

Turning even redder the boy could no longer speak English at the moment.
"L'uh I il n'est rien….Le puits I juste n-rien l'oublient juste…" He said shuffling his feet slightly. "I mean I'm fine..." She was closer... Ah trop étroitement ! Trop étroitement! {Ah too close! Too close!}
Now he really wanted to hug her...to hold her close to him. Why was he acting like this? Why or rather how did she bring out this reaction in him?
