Why do all my characters have issues?

Human:. He is tall and thin, a stick pretty much xD, any way Clark has medium length brown hair. His eyes are an odd shade of acid green. He has tan skin, and a single curved scar on his wrist. He has sharp angled features. He can look very... catish.
Lion:. His shifted form isn't a 'lion' its a mountain lion. You know what a mountain lion looks like right? Thin, extreamly wiry muscles. Big paws white muzzle/throat/underbelly. Overly long tail that ends in a dark brown tip. The ears are dark brown too. his eyes stay the same Acid green color

xx what is he/she really like?
Clark has a secluded personality. He would rather think than speak, and the whole 'cat' thing really shows in the way he acts. He is very independent. He randomly runs his hands over stuff ((the act of sharpening claws)) He is a thinker. Intelligant but not the kind to ever answer a teacher's question. Clark can be odd at times. He is a kind gentel person, and if he is happy enough will actualy start to purr ((its funny right? xD)) Anyway that is one of the many reasons he has to avoid talking to people. Well really just a bunch of points slipping down to one real truth. Keep the secret. He has some trust issues. Clark fiercly wishes he was normal. Every day. Why? Why did he have to turn into an animal?

Born into the world as a human. Changed into an animal in half a year. Really, what would you do? Clark's parent's actually took him to the ASPCA. Scary right? Anyway Clark lived the life of a zoo animal for his first 9 years. Wierd right? He finnaly figured out how to change back into his human form. Naked. *throws hands up in the air* yays. Anywho after he got away from that...... predicament. He was sent into foster care. For 7 years. He still shifted whenever he could. Which was as offten as he could run away. Now he is the morbid little 16 foster kid. School kids make fun of him. His foster mom says he acts more like a feline than a human. How scary thoes conversations were. She was so close to just guessing. *shudder* Poor Clark would be sent off to some testing lab. Oh joy.

He dosn't really have a crush or anything but he likes to watch people. He has probloms >> He dose feel a small thanks towards his most resent foster mom. she is nicer than some of the others. And more forgiving about his 'runaway' periods.

The whole full moon thing- ya no
Clark can change when ever he wants to. though if he gets to tense, he starts to smell like a mt. lion. though humans cant smell it. If he gets freaked out enough he will actualy change. The whole half human half animal thing - no thats called a furry. he changes fully from human into mt. lion
